FAQ Where can I shower? Public showers are available a short distance from Keith King Memorial Park (Start/Finish Area) in the Town of Golden. The Golden Municipal Campground has coin operated hot showers in their central amenities building. These showers are available 24 hours, but make sure you have coins to operate them as the concession at the campground is only open during regular business hours. The Golden Swimming Pool is a beautiful outdoor pool facility. Public swim drop in is $5 and showers are $2. The pool also has a free kid's splash pad for family fun. Check their website for public swim hours and operational hours. Hours are 11 AM to 7 PM. What size is my camping area and when can I access it? Solos receive a 10'x10 camping/pit area. Teams receive a 40'x30 pit/camping area. There are no vehicles allowed in this area. RV/camper/trailer parking will be in a lot adjacent to the start/finish area. There are no hook ups in this lot. Camping begins at 10 AM on Friday and ends at 12 PM on Sunday. How do I reserve a spot for my RV/Camper/Trailer? As this area has limited space, you must contact registration@transrockies.com to reserve your spot and indicate the size and type of vehicle you will be parking. If you would prefer to park your RV in a campground, please refer to the Tourism Golden website. Are there washrooms? Porta-Potties will be on site. Where can I get water? Access to water will be available, but you must have your own containers. What about parking? Onsite parking is limited. Offsite parking will be available at the Golden & District Centennial Arena (see attached map). You may unload all your gear at your site, park at the arena and then walk back to the event site. The walk is roughly 1.75 km.
